Foundry includes a full-featured React + Express dashboard for managing your software factory visually.
The main dashboard shows system status, iteration count, queue length, completed tasks, goals, and quick stats at a glance.
View registered projects with their sandbox path, branch, HEAD commit, and status. Discovered (unregistered) sandbox directories can be added with one click.
Register a new project by providing a Project ID, display name, optional Git URL (auto-cloned into the sandbox), and branch.
Full task management: view In Progress, Queue, Completed, and Blocked tasks. Each card shows validation status, tags, acceptance criteria count, and supports edit/duplicate/expand.
Create tasks with execution mode presets (Default, Normal, Thinking, Savings, or custom). Set provider, agent mode, task type, instructions, acceptance criteria, and working directory.
Real-time log viewer with project selection. The Visualize Chat tab renders the supervisor↔agent conversation as a chat timeline: supervisor prompts on the left, agent responses on the right.
Click View details on any message to inspect the full prompt, rules, guidelines, and read-only context injected into each task.
System settings saved to Postgres. Configure provider strategy, sandbox root, Ollama base URL, and circuit breaker TTL. .env values take precedence at runtime.
.env
Three built-in strategies (claude-primary, cursor-primary, gemini-primary) with primary and secondary provider chains. Duplicate or create custom strategies.
Task creation presets that auto-fill provider/model. Built-in modes: Default, Normal (Claude Sonnet), Thinking (Claude Opus), Savings (Cursor Composer). Create custom modes for any provider combination.
After running npm run setup, visit http://localhost:5173. The dashboard communicates with the Express backend API which connects to DragonflyDB and Postgres.
